January 22 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Join us at 6 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, for the first session in our Suffrage Book Club series as Dr. Gretchen Eick hosts a discussion of “Founding Sisters and the Nineteenth Amendment” (2003) by Eleanor Clift.
Dr. Eick received a degree in history and American studies from Northern University. She received her doctorate in American studies from the University of Kansas in 1997. Dr. Eick was a board member of the Global Learning Center from 2005 to 2010, and executive director of National IMPACT (IMPACT Conference) from 1987 to 1991.
We will meet in the boardroom on the 2nd floor of the Advanced Learning Library at 711 W 2nd St. in Wichita. The event is free and open to the public. Please plan to read the book before we gather and come prepared to discuss it. You may want to bring your copy for reference.
