Democracy on Tap: Riverfront Legacy Master Plan
August 13 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Wichita community organizations have created the Riverfront Legacy Master Plan, a comprehensive vision for future development on the east bank of the Arkansas River, with a focus on the area south of Douglas Avenue to Kellogg and east to Main Street.
Hear from a variety of voices about what the plan could mean for surrounding communities and Wichita’s future generations, and how you can share your input at KMUW’s Engage ICT: Democracy on Tap.
Our panelists are:
*Nadya Faulx, KMUW digital news editor and reporter
*Darryl Kelly, W – A Community of Young Professionals and Opportunity Wichita
*Michael Monteferrante, Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce and Opportunity Wichita
*More to be announced.
The lead organizations behind the Riverfront Legacy Master Plan are Downtown Wichita, Greater Wichita Partnership, Wichita Community Foundation, Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce and Visit Wichita, working together through the regional vision and action plan Project Wichita.
Engage ICT events are free and open to all, and appetizers are provided. If you can’t make it in person, the discussion is available via Facebook Live starting at 5:30 p.m. All past Democracy on Tap discussions can be found at engageict.org.
