The petition drive has gone very well from its debut at last Final Friday. We will continue at First Friday, the music crawl, on July 3. Meet at the fountains at Old Town Sq and we will fan out in teams to the various music venues and crowds. Please bring a clipboard if you have one. If not we will have a few extras.
We need more than just your signature. We need many people to work with clipboards and to take petitions individually to their churches, workplaces, families, etc. Please join in the work and fun. It is great to get out and connect with people in Wichita, raising the issue of health care reform. Please bring a clipboard or two so you can handle the lines of people waiting to sign. Hope to see you there.
The PAT Fund, which continuously organizes benefits for ill and uninsured musicians has made Wichitans conscious of the plight of mostly uninsured musicians. We expect a very good response from the musicians and their listeners.
