Friday - December 31, New Year's Eve Candlelight Peace Vigil - at McConnell AFB, Wichita, KS. 6:00pm Across from main gate to McConnell on Rock Road.

The purpose of this Vigil will be to be in solidarity with the Families for Peace Delegation that leaves for Amman, Jordan and the Iraqi border. Members of the peace delegation will also join Jordanian peace groups on New Years Day and investigate the possibility of building a global peace camp on the border of Jordan and Iraq. The delegation will include parents who have lost their sons in Iraq as well as those who lost family members on 9/11.

Of special interest in Wichita - Wing Commander Col. Cathy Clothier of McConnell AFB will be deployed to Iraq - she should go with our "blessings."
